I am NOT a shoe person…

…Which you can tell by my “man” shoes. For the last several years I have bought shoes/boots/sneakers from the men’s section. I mean, they’re just more comfortable. And when I finally bought a pair from the women’s section the last year, Lesley made fun of them!

Oh well, what do I care, right? Lesley’s dumb anyway. Comfort is what matters!

Today at work I realized that it felt funny on the side of my foot whenever I walked. So I take the shoe off…and there is a giant gaping hole in it! Emergency repair job, anyone?

And yes, I have krazy glue in my purse (Yes, I have a purse! I even have TWO purses!). I have everything. I am a walking…umm…thing that has lots of stuff!

So I finally realize I can’t put it off anymore; I have to buy new shoes. But how do I remember to pick them up after the hour-long drive home from work?

I am just a ball of class.

Addison and I went to Sears this evening. I know they’re expensive, but we have gift cards for there, which makes it easier. I actually managed to find a comfortable, professional shoe.

Less than $35 (gasp)! AND THEY EVEN LOOK LIKE GIRL SHOES!

Take that, Lesley. Triumph!
