Thanksgiving was good, I got a lot of homework the next week though, still catching up.
We’ve got a VB midterm, lots of tests, and half a dozen assignments due all within the next few days (I have most of them done though).
My roomate is crazy, wish me luck on finding a new place.
I just got home from the movies with kaytlyn, we went to see ‘Man of the Year’, which was pretty good.
I went to a social last weekend with some people from my class, the second year students, and the instructors. I impressed Scott’s wife (she’s a highschool teacher) and then told her I was homeschooled. “you must not have done it like they normally do” was what she said. I just replied with “no, not really”. On that note, I’m annoyed with essentially my enitre class. They can’t seem to get the math involved with hex, binary, and things like that. I’ll admit I zone out through most of the dude’s class but it’s not hard to wrap your mind around a different number base then just 0-9 is it? I told one of our instructors Joe that I knew what I was talkign about when it came to math, and within aboout 15 seconds he was convinced.
he asked me what B+F was. I answered with “1A, 11010, and 26″ or something like that ![]()

We had turkey again last night.
Hmm, I’m curious, I wonder what she meant by “how they usually do it” ?
Who’s Katlyn?
Hi, I’m Kaytlyn.
Addy, you and the hex/binary/decimal…I’m so impressed. I mean, I’m good, but you’re gooooooood. YAY math!
Hi Kaytlyn! *waves*
Aha! I am waved at. *shakes your hand warmly*
